Statement of Purpose
This project proposal aims to point out the reasons why the company has been slowed down in the development in the last three years, and how the high-level management team can solve these problems. This project starts with a detailed literature review on what researchers have found out about what kind of elements affect performance, and how these elements interact with each other. This project then analyzes the company’s current slow and non-productive performance in local and international markets, and discusses the reasons that cause these problems. Based on some informal interviews and discussions with workers, supervisors, and middle-level managers, this project also tries to make their voices heard by the executives. Their opinions of what and how the company should do to improve the performance in the competitive market is greatly valued in this project. At the end of the project, I will conclude my proposal in giving some additional strategies on managing different issues in the company.
